Updates at The Cheese Board

To Our Dear Customers and Community,

After careful consideration, we will be increasing our prices starting July 1, 2022.

It’s a story we’re hearing on repeat these days: the cost of running a business is going up. For months now, we’ve been seeing steep increases in what we pay for ingredients, packaging, and other necessities.

Raising our prices allows us to sustain our business for the long-term so that we can continue to bring you high-quality food at a fair price.

As always, thank you for your continued support and understanding. We wouldn’t be here without you.

How You Can Help Our Dear Co-Worker/Owner

Yoko is one of our co-worker/owners here at The Cheese Board Collective– you’ve maybe bought a cheese roll from her and experienced her warmth and kindness firsthand.  About a month ago, her spouse, Jake, contracted COVID-19 and has been on a ventilator and in an induced coma ever since.  Yoko’s been taking time off to care for their daughter, Rina, and the loss of one income and the steep decline in the other is proving to be a challenge.

.

.

We’ve established a gofundme to help the family out.  If you would like, please join us in supporting Yoko and her family.

Thank you!

We’ll also be offering our vegetarian Caesar salad with organic baby kale, croutons, Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, and our house made Caesar dressing, which is vegan and contains soy and almond.  In addition, there will be cookies, roasted garlic bulbs, soft drinks, wine, and beer, including new selections from Ghost Town Brewing in Oakland.
